Here’s day three and four of the #TCCChallenge2017. (If you don’t know what I’m talking about–check out my last blog. πŸ™‚ )

Day three of the #tccchallenge2017, a favorite item bought locally. Hands down, the coolest thing I’ve bought, anywhere, in a long time is my hexagon shaped, repurposed, coffee table. It’s from one of the many flea markets at @thebigwhitehouse , in Anoka. (Flea market, or not, you will LOVE shopping in this old home. It’s amazing, and always changing.) The table is solid enough for my toddler to launch himself off of, and is hollow–which is perfect for stashing blankets, and random toys. (It was supposed to be for a pet bed area…but, my dog hates it.) The girls who sold it to me were thrilled to not have to lug it around anymore, and I was thrilled that it was only ten bucks. (So was my hubby. 😊)

Day Four : A Favorite Book Read in 2016Twin Cities Collective, Bloggers, Creatives, Website, Minnesota, Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Melissa, Peifer, Photography, Photographer, Instagram, Challenge, 2017, New YearDay four of the #tccchallenge2017…a favorite book I read last year. In 2016, I did a lot of listening to old classics I hadn’t read before, but then I heard about a new(ish) book that actually began with creepy, vintage, photos (not a story). Obviously, I was curious. (I couldn’t care less if it’s a YA novel. If I want to read something, I do.) I bought the book and, about four days later, I was done. The images pull you into the characters even more because they are real; and that ending had me up until 3 in the morning–there was no way I was going to be able to sleep until I finished it. It was such a surprisingly fun read for me. I bought it for the pictures and ended up getting really into the story too…
